The unit consists of:
OLIMPIC TC-SS/AC
Aseptic sterilizing/ holding/ cooling unit for concentrated products to be aseptically filled.

AISI-316 stainless steel cylindrical tank, with inspection sight glass and product agitator driven by a gear-motor. Capacity : 2000 l.

C.I.P. unit for automatic cleaning of the unit, composed of:
pneumatic by pass valves
pipes & fittings for connection

Concentric pipe sterilizer suitable to bring product temperature up to the pre-fixed value by using superheated water. Product circulates inside the central annular space, while superheated water circulates in both internal and external jackets. It is completely made in AISI-316 stainless steel.

Unit for the preparation of superheated water to be used in the sterilizer, with closed loop circulation.
It consists of:
water storage tank made in AISI-304 stainless steel, tested by I.S.P.E.S.L.
steam injector complete with electro pneumatically driven modulating valve.
centrifugal pump for the recirculation of superheated water in the sterilizer.
set of interconnecting piping and valves including safety valve, steam filter, manometers, thermometer.

ON-OFF group for the return to the tank of product which has not attained the sterilization temperature.

Aseptic tubular holder, insulated by means of rock wool and covered with aluminium cupels, permitting product exiting from the sterilizer to be held for the pre-set time at the sterilization temperature.

System to lower under 100°C the temperature of product exiting from the sterilizer, should it have not reached the pre-set sterilization temperature, and be returned to the feed tank. It consists of concentric pipes cooled by circulation of water at a temperature of 14-18°C. Construction in AISI-316 stainless steel.

Aseptic concentric pipe cooler to lower product temperature down to 38-42°C.
Cooling takes place by means of indirect circulation of water at a temperature of 14-18°C.
The cooler consists of a series of concentric pipes connected together by suitable joints with steam barriers. Product circulates inside the central annular space, while cooling water circulates in both internal and external jackets, thus ensuring efficient heat exchange. Construction is completely in AISI-316 stainless steel. The cooler is also complete with electro pneumatically driven modulating valve to control water inflow according to the processing temperature.
Supporting frame of the tubular heat exchangers built in stainless steel AISI304

Set of pneumatically driven valves, special sanitary construction, installed on product and on auxiliary fluid circuits. All valves installed on the aseptic section of the unit are fitted with steam barriers.
Construction in AISI-316 stainless steel.

Set of platinum thermo-resistances PT 100 for detecting temperatures in various points of the unit.

Set of dial thermometers and manometers, placed on various points of the unit, for visually check various processing parameters on product and on auxiliary fluid circuits.

Set of connecting pipes, elbows and connections for components described above.
Pipes are made in AISI-316 stainless steel. Finishing: externally glazed, internally 2B.

Group for steam pressure control composed of:
manifold collecting steam coming from the boiler, with manual closing valve and steam trap
line for reducing steam pressure to 4 bar, for unit sterilization
line for reducing steam pressure to 0.8 bar for barriers

Control panel
It is made in stainless steel and contains the following:
PLC fitted with digital and analogue I/O cards. Processing variables (such as temperatures, levels, etc.)
Recorder for recording the most important temperatures (sterilizer, cooler, product inlet, hot water).
Connection circuits with power and pneumatic sectors.
Emergency stop pushbutton with reset circuit.
Main switch
Power circuits for managing various motors installed on the unit (contactors, overload cut-out switches, etc.)
Pneumatic section of the control panel contains:
Electro-valve battery for pneumatic valve control
Transducers 4-20mA/ 3-15 psi, for converting the electric signal into a pneumatic one, for proportional valve control.
