Multiple layer rotating cans pasteurizer/cooler for tomato derivate and similar products. The machine is composed of four overlapping sections with horizontal ways. The three upper sections are used for product pasteurization while the inferior is for the cooling process.

Multiple layer rotating cans pasteurizer/cooler for tomato derivate and similar products. The machine is composed of four overlapping sections with horizontal ways. The three upper sections are used for product pasteurization while the inferior is for the cooling process.
The upper section of the machine and his lateral sides are closed with a stainless steel caps completely removing.
The steam distribution in the machine is realized by a drilled pipe to assure an equal distribution of the steam into the cooker section.
The can’s rotation is alternate in every section to obtain the best heat distribution into the cans and to exploit at the best the surface of thermal exchange between the cans and the external surrounding.
The rotation speed is independent of the feed speed. This allows to have a very soft working procedure of product and, at the same time, a drastic reduction of treatment times.
The cooling sector is covered by a stainless steel piping to water distribution. The water is pumped on the cans through some nebulizer nozzles that divide it giving a continuous exposition to cooling, avoiding the danger of died zones.
The water can be recycled for other working process. The cooling water, before being introduced into the nozzles, must be filtered.
The cans rotation will be done by motorized rolls, in stainless steel, with adjustable speed; it’s made by gear boxes.
The temperature control is realized by PT100 probe for the survey in the cooking section; this signal is send to a pneumatic regulating valve mounted on the cooking section.

The temperature control is realized by PT100 probe for the survey in the cooking and cooling section; these signals are send to an pneumatic regulating valve mounted on the cooking section and to ON/OFF valves on the cooling sections; the signal is send also to a electronic temperature controller.
The machine has other safety devices such as:
controls of correct can position on the four section
electric motors lack alarm
Alarm of low temperature in pasteurizing section
alarms for the breaking of the main chain
alarms for a no-correct can passing through the four section
alarm for compressed air lack pressure

All these devices both cause the immediate stop of the machine and the warning signal on the electric panel. All the regulation and control instruments are installed on a particular electric panel that have also all the safety devices for the correct working of the plant.
The cans feeding is realized by a belt conveyor with a gearbox, that has a pneumatic device synchronized with the main chain. The cans output is realized by the same type conveyor actuted by a gearbox The main chains has an high breaking load and they are balanced, those for the rolls rotation are a special type with fixed removable tongues. The rolls rotation chains are reinforced with high breaking load.
The main chain tension is made automatically by four hydraulic cylinder helped by an hydraulic pump to assure the right pressure.
The structure is built in carbon steel treated with antirust and aluminum, while the lids, the lateral panels, the rollers and the cooling water storage tanks are in stainless steel.
Machine complete in all the parts and accessories, equipped of instrumentation and control panel; need a normal maintenance. Year of construction 2000
